I’m a mom to nine kids, wife to a busy husband, and a true Enneagram 1 (which means I pay attention to details AND enjoy keeping the books balanced and accurate!).

I’m down-to-earth, love figuring out solutions and I care about small businesses. I know it can be hard to find a good bookkeeper and that’s why I do what I do. 

FUN FACT: I first realized “Wow, I really like doing this!” in high school when I placed 5th in an Ontario-wide accounting contest! While that seems like forever ago, one thing sure hasn’t changed: I still like to make things balance down to the last cent!

With more than 30 years’ combined experience, my financial, supervisory, and leadership roles included:

  • managed and supported the bookkeeper with solutions and processes to produce accurate and timely financial reports

  • oversaw an office with multiple departments and developed systems for staff success during transitions and organizational growth

  • advised the board of directors on effective policy making 

  • served on a management team to oversee a multi-million-dollar budget during several building campaigns

  • assisted leadership to meet fiscal targets

  • advised company during several hiring seasons

Over the years, I’ve taken several Personal Tax Courses at the Canadian Tax Academy, and Quickbooks Online Certification courses.
